Crossflame is an active youth choir and orchestra ministry with members who
come from 11 different schools in five counties of western North Carolina! We
sing contemporary Christian music, "crossover" music and traditional sacred
music. Crossflame's rehearsal time is filled with activities including choir,
orchestra, drama and visual arts. In June of each year, we present a concert
tour, and sing throughout the year in support of various outreach projects of
the church. Crossflame welcomes seventh through twelfth graders as part of
the choir!
No audition is necessary to join! No test is given for membership! Just fill out
a registration form and show up for practice on Monday
afternoons during the school year. We will be glad to have you!
Rehearsals are Monday afternoons from 3:45 to 5:30
Larger versions of these pictures can be found in our Scrapbook!
Our 2009 Tour is set! It will be to Eastern Pennsylvania, including Pennsylvania
Dutch Country!
Please feel free to read and add comments on news articles using the "paper and pencil" icon to the right of each news article. We want to hear what you think!
OK so I want to congratulate all those who brought some of their friends to chorus with them! *gives big round of applause* We have greatly improved our numbers, but we could still use more! Invite all of your friends! Tell them how much fun it is and much fun tour is! You know how much fun it is but they don't. Tell them! Bag, plead, even bound and gag them if you have to. Whatever it takes to get them here. Just kidding on that last one........or am I????
I would like to wish a big happy birthday to Mr. Ron Sinclair, who turned a billion and 3 on wednesday, October 15. Just kidding he is only 57 (you said 57 right?). Happy Birthday Ron! Let it be one of many more to come. Jordan Wallace

Crossflame tour 2009 will be to eastern Pennsylvania including Philadelphia, Gettysburg, Harrisburg, and Hershey. The itinerary will include a train ride through Pennsylvania Amish Country, tour of Philadelphia, tour of Gettysburg, and a day at HERSHEY PARK!!!! We will stay at Gretna Glen, PA.
Within a few days you will be able to link to these sites from our webpage. Take a virtual tour, and JOIN US!!!
If you were unable to join us, you missed a really good time at the Taraska's home last Sunday afternoon. We went swimming, ate lots of pizza and snacks, went tubing and boating, rode a jet ski and had a great time getting together with old friends and meeting new ones.
First rehearsal was held last Monday afternoon, and was a great first time rehearsal!
The first Sunday aftenroon rehearsal will be held on Sunday, September 7th at 4:00 p.m. Even if you normally attend Monday rehearsals instead of Sunday rehearsals, please come to this one. It will be a "dress rehearsal" for our performance in a Broadway Review on Sunday night, September 7th at 6:00 here at St. Luke's!
